At the heart of every Bond Bone is the Bond – a removable pad designed to carry familiar scents. Its core is made from 100% lambswool, chosen for its natural ability to absorb and retain scent.

Every Bond Bone includes two Bonds. Whilst one is giving your dog reassurance, the other can be charged, so there's always a fresh Bond ready whenever you need it.

How it works

  • 1. Charge the Bond

    To charge with your individual scent, keep the Bond close to your skin — tucked into a waistband, held in a pocket, or slept with overnight in your pillowcase. Your unique scent absorbs deeply into the natural lambswool fibres.

  • 2. Insert in Bond Bone

    Slide the charged Bond into the Bond Bone. Your dog experiences the scent through the 100% herringbone cotton, which allows the scent to pass through naturally over several days. Each Bond Bone includes two bonds to allow rotation.

  • 3. Share with your dog

    Place Bond Bone where your dog rests. For a new dog, ask the rescue centre or breeder to place Bond Bone with them so they become familiar with your scent before coming home, which can ease the transition.
